About TBK Capital
TBK Capital was established to connect private & institutional funders with Business and Property related projects. As a result, we are able to structure and arrange innovative funding options through both traditional sources and private funding.
The benefit for the borrower is flexibility and choice. The benefit for the funder is the exposure to a multitude of commercial projects. This exposure could be via debt funding or equity funding - including shares, preference shares, convertible notes, and other forms of financial instruments or a combination of both.
In general terms, TBK Capital specialises in sourcing funding for the following types of Business and Property related projects:
- In the business arena, TBK Capital concentrates on small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) and privately held businesses valued in the $500,000 to $30,000,000 range. Our services include arranging funding in the form of debt, private equity, venture capital and seed capital. It will also arrange joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
- With property, TBK Capital arranges debt finance – as well as private equity and joint venture funding - for all forms of property including commercial, industrial, developments, subdivisions, and residential.
- TBK Capital has access to all the banks, prime lenders and specialised financiers in New Zealand. TBK Capital sources its funds from a wide variety of providers including debt finance from all bank and non-bank lenders (finance companies, nominee companies, trusts and private lenders) and equity and quasi-equity from institutions and private investors.
- TBK Capital offers private placement of investment opportunities for investors who qualify in terms of the Securities Act.
